A little about our work together:
Kylie is a counsellor who works with individuals aged 13 and older and couples, focusing on complex trauma, attachment wounds, and how early experiences shape how people feel, cope, and relate. She also supports clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges.
Kylie holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Western University and practices from an evidence-based, trauma-informed perspective.
In individual sessions, she primarily uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, helping clients explore the different parts of themselves — including those carrying shame or self-doubt — with curiosity and compassion. In couples work, she uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners understand and shift patterns that cause disconnection, conflict, or withdrawal, fostering emotional safety and closeness.
Kylie works with a diverse range of clients and aims to offer a respectful, inclusive space. Her approach is informed by her research background and training in trans-affirmative psychotherapy, honouring each client’s lived experience and identity.
She provides a warm, safe space where all parts — especially those carrying shame, low self-esteem, or self-doubt — are welcome. .
Therapeutic Approaches: Internal Family System (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Humanistic principles.
