Monica Boulis

Monica is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in trauma, Complex PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders. She provides therapeutic services to individuals aged 16+ in English, French, and Arabic.

Monica holds an MSc in Psychotherapy from McMaster University and an MSc in Psychology from Université de Montréal, where her research thesis explored the intersections of anxiety, depression, and aggression. She focuses on working with trauma from an attachment-based and sociocultural lens, drawing from her experience working in a centre for Trauma and Addiction with military personnel, veterans, and first responders. Additionally, Monica brings years of experience from community and hospital settings as a rehab support worker, assisting clients with motor vehicle accidents (MVA), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), workplace injuries (WSIB), and refugee resettlement.

Her approach is rooted in leveraging clients' cultural and belief systems through warmth and humour, fostering a strong therapeutic relationship and engagement.
